Marten Meyer

After many years away from the studio, Marten Meyer was encouraged to begin painting again after spending time with his artist daughter in law. He returned in full force the year he retired. Inspired by the nature surrounding him in beautiful St. Joseph, Michigan, Marten paints and draws in his studio at the Box Factory. There he has participated in several group shows and continues to hone his skills by taking classes at the nearby Krasl Center for the Arts. In addition, he is part of the Berrien Artist Guild.

Marten appreciates the support of his family and friends particularly his wife who lovingly serves as his greatest critic.
